VOV.VN - A delegation made up of military officers and soldiers departed for the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago on December 25, bringing with them lots of essential goods for the Lunar New Year (Tet) to local islanders.
The delegation board three ships carrying tens of tonnes of Tet gift packages sent by various military units and people nationwide to soldiers and residents living on the archipelago.

The parcels of Tet gifts have all been carefully packed and thoroughly disinfected as a means of ensuring absolute safety.
The gifts include an array of traditional Tet foods and fruits such as sticky rice, pork, chicken, dong leaves, green bananas, pomelos, kumquat trees, and flowers.
Kumquat trees, a traditional symbol of Tet, are transported to Truong Sa.
The annual trip conveys the profound attention paid by the Party, State, and people nationwide to the soldiers and residents on the Truong Sa archipelago.
