VOV.VN - A unique ritual procession was held at The Mieu temple in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on January 26 to worship all of the Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty on the occasion of Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.
The event opened with the title “Dang Tien Huong Xuan” and is co-organised by the Hue City and Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.
During the course of the occasion, a number of traditional crafts, specialties, and typical products of local craft villages, businesses, and localities were introduced to guests.
On show are several typical products, including Kim Long ginger jam, Hoang Gia Ginseng, red artichoke jam, and sour shrimp.
The procession follows the route from Le Huan street before moving to August 23rd street, Ngo Mon, and finally to The Mieu temple.
By debuting the event, Hue city hopes that the procession will become an annual activity in which to promote Hue as a destination of exceptional culinary arts for tourists.
