VOV.VN - Florist households based in Xuan Quan commune of Van Giang district in the northern province of Hung Yen are gearing up for the biggest season of the year as the upcoming Lunar New Year festival, known locally as Tet, is drawing near.
As the largest flower hub located close to Hanoi, these days has seen Xuan Quan become colourful and beautiful once again, featuring a variety of blooming flowers with Tet approaching.
Xuan Quan farmers plant various kinds of petunias, which are typically imported from Thailand and the United States.
Rose is one of the most popular flowers among the majority of customers.
Phalaenopsis orchids are priced around several thousands of VND per pot.

Once purchased, flowers from Xuan Quan village are sent to many northern provinces, with some even reaching as far away as Ho Chi Minh City.

Xuan Quan is situated near to the traditional pottery village of Bat Trang. Therefore, after buying flowers and ornamental plants, customers enjoy going to the famous pottery village to purchase vases and flower pots.
