VOV.VN - A full rehearsal of a fireworks and pyrotechnics display celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress was held at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium on the evening of January 21.
The official fireworks display is scheduled to last around 30 minutes from 8:10 p.m. on January 23, as part of a special programme marking the success of the 14th National Party Congress.
As part of the rehearsal, organisers tested 300 high-altitude fireworks along with the full pyrotechnic system, lasting about five minutes.
Organisers said the artistic fireworks display differs markedly from conventional shows, with a tightly scripted design by pyrotechnic experts to synchronise light, colour and sound.
The official display on January 23 will feature 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 fountain fireworks launchers, and 4,400 pyrotechnic effect tubes.
Fireworks are launched from Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium, with pyrotechnic effects mounted on Stand B and high-altitude fireworks positioned along Le Duc Tho Street near the Aquatics Palace in Tu Liem ward.
Thousands of residents gather outside My Dinh National Stadium to watch the rehearsal fireworks illuminate Hanoi’s night sky.
Nearly 10,000 fireworks units have been prepared for the event, with the artistic script advised by Malaysia-based Global2000 International, a leading fireworks consultancy and long-time partner of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.
