VOV.VN - As the year draws to a close, cherry blossoms are coming into full bloom in Vietnam’s mountainous border areas of Nghe An province, transforming the remote highlands into a landscape awash in soft shades of pink.
From mid to late January, cherry blossoms in Nghe An typically reach peak bloom, signaling the approach of spring in Vietnam’s mountainous border region.
Cherry blossom trees are most densely planted at Muong Tip 1 Primary School’s Pha Noi campus and along the main entrance to Pha Noi village. Blooming from January to February, the blossoms turn a vivid shade of pink, creating a romantic landscape.
Rows of cherry blossom trees burst into vivid pink along village roads, schoolyards and residential areas, creating a poetic and distinctly traditional scene welcoming the Lunar New Year in western Nghe An province.
The vivid blossoms stand out against the mountainous landscape, turning the area into a popular check-in spot for visitors seeking to enjoy the beauty of spring.
The cherry blossom season offers an ideal opportunity for local residents and visitors to admire the blooms and capture memorable moments.
Thanks to local climate and soil conditions, the cherry blossoms there feature thicker petals and deep pink stamens, with pale pink hues gradually fading toward the edges of the flowers.
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom, creating a fairy-tale-like landscape in the remote border region of Nghe An province.
This year, many newly planted young cherry trees along Provincial Road 543D, passing through the former Ky Son district, have bloomed for the first time.
