Held under the theme “Spring of a New Era,” this year’s event blends the nostalgic charm of ancient Thang Long with contemporary artistic concepts, creating a festive landscape that honours tradition while embracing modern aesthetics.
The highlight of the event is the gathering of over 300 peach blossom trees of various varieties, including centuries-old specimens and intricately shaped artistic creations. Many of the trees have been sourced from renowned flower-growing villages such as Nhat Tan, Phu Thuong and Tu Lien, long regarded as the heartlands of Hanoi’s traditional peach blossom craft.
Visitors will also have a rare opportunity to admire distinctive regional varieties, including peach blossoms from Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Lang Son, as well as highland peach trees from Sa Pa and Moc Chau.
The centerpiece is the Octagonal House area, featuring a spring flower exhibition to honour the traditional and refined hobby of cultivating peach and kumquat trees of Hanoians. In addition, nearly 300 kumquat trees, collected from Quang Ba kumquat village, Tu Lien, Nam Dinh, and giant kumquat trees from Hung Yen, are also on display on this occasion.
Apart from impressive peach blossom and kumquat exhibition area, the spring flower space introduces a wide array of traditional spring blossoms, including dahlias, marigolds and chrysanthemums, forming a colourful tapestry of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
The space will open to visitors till March 3, or the 15th day of the first lunar month.
